It appears that OJ Simpson has written a book called ‘IF I did it’. According to the BBC, OJ claims that the book is a work of fiction (faction?) which details exactly how he WOULD have gone about murdering his ex-wife and her lover IF he had done it. That’s some serious spooky shit. Or it would be if it didn’t appear to be a perverse confession.
On a non-running back note, I had a weird dream last night. I dreamed that I was a supply teacher drafted in to replace the biology teacher at my old school. As if this wasn’t odd enough though the classroom had a couch, a telly and a stash of pornographic videos. Even stranger, the couch and the videos didn’t seem out of place and in dream thinking were an accepted part of the curriculum. Then again, I suppose I was a biology teacher in this particular dream. The PE teacher was Monty Panesar, the England cricketer. Again, in true dream fashion, this did not seem at all strange.
I wouldn’t mind being a teacher actually. I think I would have the knack of dealing with the kids as I’m fairly good with people. Whether I would be able to actually teach - well that’s a different issue. I have been thinking about an alternative career for a while now. So what about teaching ? Not sure. Pay would be shite but would it be as shite as continuing to work in IT for the next 20 years ?
I’ve had hankerings for the quiet, country life recently. Maybe I’ll open a little farm and make and sell cheese or sell organic veg. I’ve had it up to here with the big business ratrace and I wouldn’t mind the simple life. The only thing that would stop us is that we are both very well paid for what we do and we would certainly never attain the same standard of living moving outside of what we do. Trapped by our own success. I daresay we are not the only ones in that position.
Anyway, just in case I ever decide to change career, I’ll leave the vote to you. What do you think I should be ?

My ambition is to leave this IT rubbish I do and head towards them cotswold hills to become a stone wall man! All these people buying their second homes in the Cotswolds makes for rich pickings and they always want Cotswold stone walls in their garden….Hard work though!
