Whilst applying my ridiculously expensive hair product this morning, I became aware of exactly how many grey hairs I am acquiring. I’m caught in two minds as to whether it’s a good thing or not. Obviously I’d look distinguished but more importantly (and more scarily) I’d look old. I’m not sure I want to be known as The Silver Fox just yet. Hopefully the distribution of grey hairs will not accelerate rapidly as I do not wish to wake up one morning looking like Phillip Schofield.
Other aspects of life are becoming easier to deal with this week. I’m more settled with the issue of my Grandmother now. My parents visited her on Sunday and she has no recollection of the day she was taken into hospital and hence no recollection of the fibs I told her to get her to go. She is very confused though and can’t understand what all the other patients are doing in her living room. She is fit and healthy enough though and no worse for the experience (at least not yet anyway).
My main focus has to be my Grandad who is struggling to cope with the fact that my Granny is in hospital and won’t be visiting him. Keeping his spirits up has been tough the last few days and he’s becoming depressed. I’ll keep plugging away though and try and brighten his horizon a bit.
The mingingness of yesterdays post appears to be receding. Perhaps today will be a better day.

Wait till you are called The “shiny” silver fox!
White hair surrounds the abyss!
Good news about your Grandmother.
