Martian Chronicle

It seems like theres a massive big hole on Mars. It’s very deep according to NASA. If I was a Martian, I’d be very concerned that the United States was watching me from above but I digress. It’s very interesting to think that some sort of subterranean life may be possible (according to the boffins). It would most likely be microscopic but it’s still nice to think we may not be alone in the universe. Having looked at photos of Mars on the web, it looks a fantastic place to visit. Me in a big spacesuit walking dead slow taking photos. I suppose I’d get sick of the landscape after a while. Can’t be an easy stroll after all, walking around avoiding all of those big boulders on the surface.
Back to earth though and it’s good to see the Scottish government challenging the UK government on a deal Tony Blair made to send the Lockerbie Bomber back to Libya to see out his sentence. Yeah right Tony, like that would happen. There would be a few posed shots of him looking glum behind bars then he’d be off back to his family. No gonnae happen big Tony. Sorry mate. Alex ‘Smoked’ Salmond is going to twist your melons over everything as well as making Gordon Brown’s life a misery after you’ve gone.
Whilst I am still anti-Nationalist, it’s becoming fairly entertaining having a different party in charge of Scotland than is in charge of the UK as a whole. It certainly means the Labour party can’t just railroad policies through without opposition.
Thus ends my spacey political rant. I’m off on holiday after today. See you in a week or so.
