Festival time

You can always tell when it’s approaching Festival time in Edinburgh. Generally speaking, the streets are littered with people giving you leaflets advertising shows which, even once you have read the leaflet, you still have no idea what the show is about.

Another annoying development is ’street theatre’ where basically some numpties with white facepaint come and dance round you whilst humming a tune about solidarity and empathy with the Chinese slave workforce.

The buses become ridiculously busy too. It’s all bollocks.
