…on the cusp of the weekend. Tomorrow will be taken up with a trip to Murrayfield to watch Hearts take on Barcelona. I’m looking forward to seeing one of the best teams in the world. It will also be good to see Barcelona ;o)

On the subject of football, I’m overdosing on Beckham-mania. America seems to be going potty for the Beckham freakshow. I actually have a lot of time for David Beckham. He’s a good role model (well, apart from the shagging Rebecca Loos bit). He gets dropped by club and country in the same season. Not easy for any player to take. Instead of throwing all of the toys out of the pram, he knuckles down and fights his way back into both teams. That’s integrity and determination for you. What’s getting my goat is all of the TV coverage in this country. It’s bordering on religious. The new Messiah is David Beckham. So the BBC would have you believe anyway.

I’m also hoping this weekend to tweak my Adsense sites. I’m currently pulling in about $1.50 a day across Scottish Junior News and British and Irish Castles. Not an astonishing amount of income. It does cover the cost of my daily scone I suppose but let’s face it, I didn’t start this Adsense lark to supplement my purchases of baked goods. I’ll need to tweak and play with the sites over the weekend and do a bit of reading to see if I can get any better return on the sites.
