This is going to be one of those posts which deals with a mixture of subjects. First of all, the weekend. Barcelona v Hearts. What a farce. 58,000 fans in the stadium, which is no mean feat but the game was appalling. Barca never hit much above walking pace and to be honest, they treated the Hearts players as if they were traffic cones in a training exercise. In fairness, traffic cones would have played better.
With regards to this site, I’ve decided that the subdomain web address has to go. The site has become popular enough and I blog often enough for it to justify a domain name of it’s own, which I have duly purchased. I intend to move everything over to the new domain and hosting this week. I’ve purchased a reseller package from Reseller Zoom which (if the service is good enough) should save me a fortune on hosting a year as I can move all of my domains over to it in due course as they expire with their existing hosts. Hosting is costing me over £150 a year and I just can’t justify it any more. I’ll keep you posted so that you can update any hyperlinks and bookmarks etc etc.
Yesterday was my best Adsense day to date, with $3.54 in the virtual till. All of this income is still from my Junior News site and I’m racking my brains as to ways to promote my British and Irish Castles site more. I’ve written a couple of articles for Ezine Articles but my Castle knowledge is ropey to say the least.
Yesterday was spent clearing much of the junk out of our flat and into the basement. With the arrival of a wee person in our lives in 2 months time or so, we’ve had to undertake an exercise to clear enough space for the wee soul and all of the bulky accompanying paraphernalia such as buggy ‘travel systems’, cots and the like. I’m so excited I can’t wait. In some ways it seems strange to think that our family will expand from two people to three, potentially by the start of October. Strange, but an incredible buzz nonetheless.
Can I really be this happy on a Monday?

Mark, you want to set up a web site that finds the cheapest/rarest/”hard to get” football tickets; that might make you some money.
