Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Well, I’ve finished it and I must admit, I’m wondering what all the fuss was about. It’s disappointing that there will be no more books in the series though. I had originally planned to go back and read all of the previous books immediately upon finishing this one, but some of the aspects of the plot which were revealed in the final stages of Deathly Hallows has taken the shine off of some of the earlier books for me.

To summarise my thoughts:-

Good start.

Pish middley bit.

Good ending, apart from the wee epilogue which was just plain bleurgh.

    The whole does he/doesn’t he die thing plus the tying up of a number of loose ends. It all seemed a bit rushed and contrived in the end. No?
