One year on

Today is our first wedding anniversary. It’s amazing how quickly a year has passed. This time a year ago I was probably sitting in a barbers chair in Leith having a Turkish shave, my best man in the next chair being butchered by the Turkish barber’s enthusiastic but ultimately inept trainee.

It’s been a good year but funnily enough it doesn’t seem like a massive milestone in our life together. I think the biggest milestone will be in two months time when the wee man decides to make an appearance. It seems unusual to celebrate 1 year married when we are in our 7th year together anyway. Anyone who’s married may or may not know what I mean.

So tonight, we are off out for a meal at The Tower, part of the Museum of Scotland in the old town. Should be excellent. Of course, I’ll be the only one drinking……

Hopefully I’ll get a chance to update early next week, but I’m in Worcester on Monday and then London on Tuesday with work so only time will tell. Have a good weekend.
