I can’t believe it but I’ve taken the social networking plunge and created a Facebook account. It will probably see as much use as my MySpace account, which isn’t very much but it’s still cool to tinker with and see who you know. Anyway. Here I am.

In other news, I’m just back from two days away with work, firstly in Worcester and then London. It’s always interesting to get away and see some new places, having never been to Worcester before. London was the usual busy drudge. I’m always glad to get back to Edinburgh after being in London. To be honest, it’s great to get back home from wherever you are.

On the subject of my home city, I’ve just finished the first Inspector Rebus novel by Ian Rankin. Alright, so I’m about 20 years behind everyone else but it was very good even if it paints an unusually bleak portrait of Edinburgh and it’s underworld. I’ll be off to buy the second novel in the series at lunchtime.

I guess this is a bit of an interim post. Too tired to be inspired. And that rhymes. That’ll do.
