The weekend in review

Monday again. Oh gloom. I’ve a busy week this week too which just makes Monday all the more depressing.

The weekend marked our first time out of the house without the wee chap, my parents looking after him for a couple of hours while we went for a meal to celebrate my wifes birthday. It’s odd. We didn’t really relax and found ourselves belting back to the house after 2 hours just so we could see him. I’m sure that will pass with time. Give it a year and we’ll be rushing out the door and staying out on an all night bender.

In other developments, there were no other developments. Life is fairly dull at the minute. The nature of being a new parent ensures that there is a lot of staying in to be done, so unless the roof of the house blows off then there are limited things to write about of a Monday morning.

I am going to see Marillion in Glasgow on Thursday though, which should be magnificent. I may even have a few (dozen?) beers.
