It’s Monday and rather than be negative, I’m going to be positive. Here are some good things to start the week:-
I completed a client website I was working on (a Guest House in the south side of Edinburgh). I will now get paid.
I’ve redesigned and launched the official website of Spartans FC.
Soundclips from the new [...]
Fridays are magic. Not like Paul Daniels magic. There are no ladies sawn in half or rabbits out of hats. It’s magic in the sense of jump up and click your heels like Gene Kelly in singing in the rain kind of magic.
Use of the word ‘Magic’ in this context is one of my favourite [...]
London is smelly. Vibrant, but dirty and smelly. On passing through Hammersmith yesterday morning there was a wee chinese bloke, slumped in a bus shelter trying to stem what looked like the worlds biggest nosebleed. His blood was all over the pavement, as were his worldy possessions.
No way to live you’d say. But then again, [...]
So, here I am in London. Spat out of the Caledonian Sleeper, crumpled and dishevelled onto the Streets of London. Just me and Ralph McTell.
6.50am is no time to be leaving somewhere, let alone arriving, but a quick cooked breakfast and a mug of sweet tea from a greasy spoon ‘caf’ soon had me back [...]
I’m off on the shoogly, smelly night train tonight. No doubt I’ll struggle to get to sleep as the jalopy jolts from one siding to another on it’s slow crawl to England’s capital city. My morning alarm call will be from a Scotrail guard, probably called ‘Big Davie’ who will hand me a microwaved bacon [...]
Today’s Friday Question (from the Daily Meme) is:-
If you could experience someone else’s job for one day, what type of job would you choose?
Easy. Bed tester. Totally snoring. Sparked out in a big star shape. Brilliant.

It’s Friday again then. I was beginning to think it wasn’t ever going to get here. It’s been one of those weeks where you’d swear someone had screwed with the space time continuum. I kept thinking yesterday was Friday which was obviously a sore disappointment every time I realised it wasn’t.
Anyway, I’ve had some random [...]
I quite enjoyed the meme thing yesterday, so I’m going to do another one. This time I’m going to do the Thursday Thirteen.
I could have written about thirteen things I want to do before I die, or thirteen places I’d visited in the world. Me being me though, I decided to go for thirteen of [...]
I see that Alexandra has been kicked out of this years Big Brother house for threatening fellow housemates. Basically, so the story goes, she told other housemates that she’d have them done in by her ‘gangster mates’ on the outside.
Gangsters? Or Gangstas? Gies peace. A souped up Ford Escort, a shiny shell suit and more [...]
Judging by my webstats, I receive visitors from countries the world over, from as wide ranging nations as Syria and Australia.
I’m curious to know who my readership is. With that in mind, I would be really grateful if you could leave a wee comment on this post just saying who you are, where you are [...]
