@ Lorraine. No, I’ve not watched Big Bang Theory. Might need to give it a try.

@Loth. Not keen on moths either. It’s the hairy insect aspect. Two things which should never go together. Hair and insects. Although I’m sure someone will be along to tell me that a moth isn’t an insect or such like.

@Duncan @Lorraine. I should clarify the Weightwatchers thing. Basically you just log on to a site which tells you how many points every type of food is. I hasten to add that I ate no more Ryvita’s than normal during this period I.

A quick wikipedia browse later and I have to admit my memory of the feature film, “Mimic” was, at best, hazy.

Edited Wiki highlights say – “In Manhattan, cockroaches are spreading a deadly disease…Entomologist Mira Sorvino….genetic engineering to create …the Judas Breed, a large insect (a cross between a termite and a praying mantis) .. releases an enzyme that kills off the disease carrying roaches. #11 – yup, got to watch that. We called my son Humpty for ages (he was a big baby) and it took a lo-o-ong time to stop.

#12 – it’s big hairy moths with me. The ones with faces. And the flying cockroaches we used to get in Saudi. Shudder.

#14 Oddly, we just let my kids watch the series of Day of the Triffids and they loved it. No sign of any nightmares. Yet.

Good stuff, I learned a few new things about you while reading that!

In response:

#1 – I also grew up by the sea and feel the same way. I think it has something to do with associating it with home.

#11 – If you’re not careful it will turn into a nickname used by his mates, he wont thank you for it! lol

#19 – Did not know that and think not everyone would admit to it so well done.

#4, 17, 20 and 21 – Have you watched The Big Bang Theory? I think you could probably relate to a lot of the jokes, its my fav show at the moment.
