I spent yesterday in East Kilbride. I’d never been there before yesterday and I am unlikely to be back. Actually it was Hairmyres rather than East Kilbride. Hairmyres sounds like a medical condition.

Unesco are in Edinburgh today to review the World Heritage status awarded to the city in 1995. It’s a disgrace that it has reached such a point. Some of the developments going up in and around Edinburgh in recent years have been scandalous. The Caltongate development is not fit to grace this beautiful city.
